I have been sole instructor for twelve sections across four preparations since Fall 2023, with a thirteenth underway this fall. Enrollments have run from 20 in upper-level sections to 223 in Personal Finance, and I have taught in person, fully online, and with both formats running at once.

Across eight measured sections my overall instructor rating averages 3.83 on UWM's five-point scale. The two most recent sections, both Economics of Personal Finance in Spring 2026, returned 4.1 and 4.2, the second on fifty responses from an enrollment of 223.
In Summer 2026 I taught Financial Literacy for the UWM Student Support Services TRIO Summer Bridge Program, which runs an intensive pre-semester session for incoming first-year students, many of them first-generation and Pell-eligible. Every participant who answered the program's survey agreed that the instructor was knowledgeable about managing finances, and 88 percent said the course increased their knowledge of how to manage financial resources.
